Fabric Sample

This is one of my scarf samples.

I used a technique called devore which is where you use a fabric with two types of fibres (synthetic and natural) and screen print a chemical paste which burns away the synthetic fibres. The fabric can then be dyed two different colours known as double dying. I chose a purple background (acid dye) and a grey foreground (procion dye). On top of that I did a foil print using the same image of a tarantula.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Well I've just finished my module for uni which involved scarf and wallpaper designs. From hearing good feedback from my final scarf, I'm now planning to create a collection of ten scarves maybe more. Already had a request for a scarf :)
