Felt Bunnies

I also wanted to make a bunny, as they're my favourite animal plus I wanted it to be my bunny that previously died :( On a higher note I found a sewing pattern for a cute rabbit, which I got carried away with as Im still making them :) The brown one is made from a furry material, & the other two are felt (yellow is the better made felt) The yellow one is made for my friends unborn baby which is why there are no buttons on it or small parts. I hope the baby will like it :D

Big Hair

My project was to make my friends into characters for a collection of felt dolls. Well my materials arrived however the skin tone I ordered was more yellow than a fleshy tone, but I made a mini doll prototype to see how they'd turn out if made for real. I used 9"x 9" squares of felt which was 1mm thick, good quality though not the shitty kids felt. I have seen a massive roll of a flesh tone for sale but just sorting out the postage. This is my first attempt

Re-Work of Sam

Remember this lil creation? Well I did some adjustments to him last night and liked how he turned out. The last mouth he had was made from satin which frays alot so I had to change that, plus I had been playing about with the position of his hands & liked the expression he was giving. I also turned the buttons around so the stitching was a vertical line rather than horizontal. Hope you like the changes :)

Customised Shoes

These are a pair of cheap shoes that I painted about two months ago for fun , plus I had no money to buy better ones. As they were really cheap (£2) they didnt last long, however, they lasted long enough for my friend to request a pair :)
Her feet have swollen up due to pregnancy so she wouldnt be needing them to last forever which is good as they are two sizes too big than her normal size. For my black pair I used acrylic paint with a tip-ex pen, for the white ones I used a permanent fine liner with the same paint. The tip-ex worked better as it was liquid which soaked into the fabric, while the fine liner only did the top layer. I may use some indian ink over the top to see if it improves.
