Well I finally finished all 13 commissions and posted them in time for Christmas. Gained brilliant feedback too, so everyones happy :)

Time to relax? Instead I made these watches :)

Commissions

The last week I have had 6 commissions to be made in time for Christmas, so that means I am verrrrry busy as I have Uni work to do too; at least Im not bored though aye? ;)

Here are my first necklace designs, I have made it into two necklaces in case someone wanted a single piece instead of the double. First off we have Lulu, this young lady is a temptress and she has one thing on her mind and thats men. Lulu has a few disguises so which will you have? As Lulu is a cheeky madam she has a way of getting what she wants....

20 - Order - Design

First off, I have now sold 20 frames in total!! I had 4 sold this week and 4 commissions to make :) I have made 3 of the commissions so far plus an extra frame so only one left to do.

On another note, I have now ordered my necklaces and should be having the second necklace sample here on either 9th/10th Sept. Plus I have some more designs being priced up at the moment, cant wait to make them!

My first necklace samples came yesterday and they still need altering, Im just glad I asked for samples rather than ordering straight away :)
At the moment they have some silly mistakes have been made which the factory will have to stop doing, but thanks to these mistakes I have come up with a new idea for the necklace :)

Plus I have literally just finished another necklace design and sent it off to be priced up!

I had another commission the other day for a frame similar to the neutral garden frame plus she also wanted two of the felt bunnies. I still had one left which was the furry brown one, so I only had to make one extra. She left the colour choices up to me so I chose yellow body, white belly and pink/yellow ears :)

Yesterday I had another commission and I've just finished it and waiting for it to dry. I took a picture for you all to see though :)
I was asked for: Purple & blue colours. Anything girly or to do with dogs or bikes. I went with girly as I had quite a few items for that theme.

I made these two yesterday, they still need fixing but i'll do that later today :) I have hand drawn each design all around the mugs using a mixture of black, gold and silver.

I have also done my mom a personalised one for work with a cartoon version of her two dogs.

Mosaic Frames

I have wanted to do a mosaic for ages now, I was going to do a table however price wise for a second hand table were a bit steep especially as Im so picky. Instead I decided to try on a frame using the tiles. The first attempt was the purple one which took a while plus it kept getting ruined; I fixed it though :)

The yellow one was much easier to do, practice makes perfect as they say. More will be made soon.

This morning I handed my necklace designs into the company to be priced up and have the artwork adjusted for industry use. Hopefully I will have some samples made then if all goes well, the finished pieces :)

Another Day In Paradise

Last night I designed some necklace ideas, and been pricing up how much it would cost to make the moulds and of course batch size.
Gotta wait till Mon/Tues to show my designs, so I gotta develop my doodles into technical drawings :)

I am planning on making some jewellery and badges, but only at the designing stage at the moment but I do have a company to process my designs :)

Using some old jewellery and pieces that had broken, I made a few keyrings but didnt know what else to do with them. I got an idea from a friend of mine to make photoframes and so bought some frames and began to make layouts.

I chose simple colour palettes for each frame and I really like how they've turned out :)

Babywear - 1st Steps

This module is a competition, the winning designs will be put into production for spring/summer 2012. The themes to chose from were:

I chose Quirky Adventure and originally wanted to do mythical creatures like Medusa, Posiden and Cerberus, but as you can probably guess, thats a little scary for babies. Im still on those lines but more into made up creatures of my own. Heres my ideas I have so far :)
